Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. The music she grew up with was classical and old boleros, as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16, under the direction of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and young professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. After moving from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is a frequent soloist for private events and parties singing classical Latin American Music. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and love for music. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
