Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since her teenage years she is a part of popular music as well as flamenco. She also explores other music genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still with the bite of older singers. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately earning a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami offered songwriting collaborations alongside a host of artists and producers including Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in March 2022 after a live appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala along with winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was also the first woman ever to receive both awards.
